By
The San Francisco Giants have signed Pablo Sandoval to a three-year extension, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. The deal is worth $17.15mm plus incentives, Andrew Baggarly of the San Jose Mercury News adds.
The deal will cover all three years that Sandoval is eligible for arbitration as he will still hit free agency after the 2014 season.
In 2011, he posted a .315 avg while hitting 23 home runs and 70 RBI’s. He also posted a .357 OBP while making $500k.
