The Arizona Diamondbacks have agreed to a one-year, $1 million deal with first baseman Lyle Overbay according to Jon Heyman of CBSSports.

Overbay was signed by the Dbacks in August. He elected free agency after being designated for assignment by the Pirates in July.

The 34-year old veteran hit .234/.310/.360 with 9 HR’s and 47 RBI’s in 394 AB’s for the Pirates and Diamondbacks in 2011.
