Cubs willing to move Matt Garza
By
According to Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports, the Chicago Cubs’ new regime is willing to move right handed pitcher Matt Garza. This would make sense for the Cubs since they could get some valuable players in return given the thin market on starting pitching.
Rosenthal adds that although the Rangers moved Neftali Feliz to the starting rotation after signing Joe Nathan, they can’t be ruled out on Garza.
The 27-year old Garza was 10-10 with a 3.32 ERA in 198.0 innings throughout 31 starts with the Cubs in 2011.
