The Cleveland Indians have a $9 million club option on Grady Sizemore for 2012, but the big question is – will they exercise it?

Sizemore has played 104 games in the last two years, and has recently had his fifth surgery in the last three years, so Indian fans have to wonder if the team will take the risk?

“Not going to speculate on that,” said GM Chris Antonetti in a text to Paul Hoynes of The Plain Dealer. “We’ll let you know when we have a decision on the option.”

“We are hopeful that the surgery will alleviate Grady’s symptoms in his knee and expedite his recovery,” Antonetti added.

Sizemore is expected to be ready by Spring Training, but with who?
