The Seattle Mariners have acquire right-handed pitcher Chance Ruffin from the Detroit Tigers as the player to be named later from the Doug Fister trade, Jason A. Churchill of Prospect Insider reports.

The 22-year-old was a first-round pick in 2010 (48th overall) in the June Amateur Draft. In 40 relief appearances in the Minor Leagues, Ruffin was 3-3 with a 2.00 ERA over 45 innings pitched.
