The Phildelphia Phillies have spoken to the Florida Marlins about Leo Nunez, Jerry Crasnick of ESPN reports.  While no names in addition to Nunez have been mentioned, Crasnick says the Marlins are looking for young starting pitching in return – a commodity that the Phillies have plenty of.

The Phillies aren’t the only ones that have spoken to Florida about their pitching staff.  Last week, the Texas Rangers reached out to the Marlins about their pitching availability.  The talks at the time were not far along.
