The New York Mets have signed right-handed pitcher Michael Fulmer for $937,500, according to Jim Callis of Baseball America.  Fulmer was a first-round supplmental pick for the Mets in 2011.  The bonus is in excess of Major League Baseball’s $776,700 guideline for the 44th overall pick.

The sides reportedly agreed to a deal on June 24.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Fulmer has a mid-90s fastball and a hard slider.  He was a member of Arkansas’ recruiting class.
