Minnesota Twins release Steve Singleton
By
In an article by LaVelle E. Neal III of the Star Tribune, he reports that the Minnesota Twins have released infielder Steve Singleton. Singleton was hitting .295 in 41 games at Double-A New Britain and was hitting .246 in 40 games for Triple-A Rochester. Neal adds that Singleton had off the field issues that played a role in the decision to release him.
