Dodgers and Tigers discussing possible Kuroda trade
By
The Detroit Tiger and the Dodgers have recently discussed a trade that would send Hiroki Kuroda to the Tigers, sources close to Ken Rosenthal And Jon Morosi of FOXSports.com say. Though the teams are discussing a deal, nothing is close.
Even if a deal is agreed upon, the biggest hurdle of all is getting Kuroda to waive his no-trade clause. Kuroda has said he will not provide a list of teams he would accept a trade to but will analyze each potential deal on a case-by-case basis.
The Rangers, Indians, Red Sox all have checked in on the right hander in recent days.
Kuroda who signed a one-year $12 million deal is 6-11 with a 3.13 era in 120.2 innings.
