The San Diego Padres have agreed to terms with supplementary and 58th overall pick Jace Peterson, according to a team press release.

A preliminary scouting report on Peterson indicates that he’s a two sport athlete with exceptional speed and a good approach at the plate.

The Padres signed their first-round pick Corey Spangenberg on Friday.
