Dan Johnson clears waivers – goes to Triple-A

Tampa Bay Rays first baseman, Dan Johnson, has cleared waivers and has accepted an assignment to Triple-A Durham, Marc Topkin of the St. Petersburg Times reports.
The Rays had previously designated Johnson for assignment on May 20. The infielder was hitting .115/.179/.167 with 1 HR and 3 RBI’s in 78 AB’s for the Rays this season.
