According to Kevin Goldstein of Baseball prospectus, the Atlanta Braves have released first baseman Riaan Spanjer-Furstenburg.
This season Spanjer-Furstenburg was hitting .188/.212/.266 with 1 RBI in 64 AB’s for the Braves’ Class-A team.
