The Arizona Diamondbacks have agreed to a Minor League deal with left handed pitcher Ron Mahay according to Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. The reliever will go to extended Spring Training and then probably to Reno adds Piecoro.
Mahay signed a minor league deal back in February to compete for a second lefty spot in the Dodger bullpen. In 7.1 innings this Spring, Mahay gave up 11 hits, 4 walks, 3 home runs and 8 runs (9.82 era).
The lefty was 1-1 with a 3.44 ERA in 34 innings with the Twins in 2010.
