According to Matt Eddy of Baseball America the Chicago White Sox have released second baseman C.J. Retherford.
Retherford hit .201/.249/.321 with 4 HR’s and 13 RBI’s in 159 AB’s with the White Sox’s Triple-A team in 2010.
