Roberto Alomar will be the new Blue Jays’ special assistant

According to Jerry Crasnick of ESPN, the Toronto Blue Jays have named Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar as a special assistant in the organization.
Alomar was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown this year. He received 523 votes (90% from eligible voters).
In five seasons with the Blue Jays, Alomar hit .307/.382/.451 with 55 HR’s and 342 RBI’s in 703 games.
