Former Hendricks Brothers agent charged with grand theft

According to Melissa Segura of Sports Illustrated, a former agent with Hendricks Sports Management, Rodney Fernandez, was charged with grand theft for taking money from Los Angeles Angels’ first baseman Kendry Morales.
The criminal complaint versus Rodney Fernandez says that he stole, $305,574.29 from Morales to “enhance [Fernandez's] recruiting business.” Additionally, the complaint adds that Fernandez was hired by Hendricks Sports Management to recruit players for the agency.
Fernandez is being held at the Broward County Main Jail on a $10,000 bond.
