Mariners closing in on James Paxton

The Seattle Mariners are close to signing left handed pitcher James Paxton according to Keith Law of ESPN.com.
The lefty was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the first round (37th overall) of the 2009 MLB June Amateur Draft, but he spent the 2010 season playing with the Grand Prairie AirHogs in an Independent League.
