2011 Spring Training Guide – Grapefruit League
By
The Grapefruit League is the senior circuit of the two Spring Training leagues and is currently home to 15 Major League Baseball clubs that will conduct their annual preseason ritual. The teams are spread out more in Florida than they are in Arizona, so it will require more effort to go between stadiums such as a two-hour drive from Lakeland, Florida (home of the Detroit Tigers) to Port St. Lucie (home of the New York Mets).
For those that will be in sunny Florida for Spring Training 2011, here’s a handy to guide to get you around. (If you’re going to be in Arizona for the Cactus League, click this link).
