According to The New York Times’ Tyler Kepner, the Milwaukee Brewers are the latest team to show interest in hiring Bobby Valentine as the next manager of the team. There will be competition for the Brewers since Valentine has already interviewed with the Seattle Mariners (where’s he considered the “front-runner” and the Toronto Blue Jays.

Earlier today, Valentine removed his named from consideration for the Marlins’ job.

Kepner says that the 60-year-old Valentine is an “exceptional game strategist who can also motivate a listless fan base.”
