The bidding for pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma starts on November 1st according to NPBTracker Twitter account. The Akuten Golden Eagles are hoping for a posting fee of $16mm-$17mm.

Once a team posts the highest posting fee, they then have to negotiate a contract with the 29 year old pitcher.  Iwakuma posted a 2.82 ERA over 201 innings this past season.  That accomplishment marked Iwakuma’s fourth straight season with an ERA of 3.40 or lower.
