According to Joe Christensen of the Star Tribune, the Minnesota Twins have designated right-handed pitcher Matt Fox for assignment to make room on the roster for Ben Revere.

Fox, 27, made his Major League debut on Friday where her pitched 5 2/3 innings, giving up four hits, two earned runs and one walk.

Revere, 22, was the Twins’ first-round selection in the 2007 MLB June Amateur Draft. In four Minor League seasons, he hit .328/.389/.412.
