The Chicago White Sox have designated right-handed pitcher Clevelan Santeliz for assignment, according to USA Today.

Santeliz, who is celebrating his 24th birthday today, has yet to pitch with the big league club. In five seasons in the Minor Leagues, SAnteliz is 12-26 with a 4.46 ERA in 172 appearances (29 starts). With Triple-A Charlotte, he is 1-4 with a 4.65 ERA in 36 appearances.
