Here’s a story from the funny files:

So late last month, Shane Victorino of the Philadelphia Phillies had a “Trading Spaces” promotion with Southwest Airlines. Victorino showed up at Philadelphia International Airport, grabbed the mic, signed autographs and posed for pictures. You can see more about it from the Southwest Airlines blog.

What they didn’t mention was that Victorino forgot to bring his ID to the airport. Grown man not bringing his ID with him.  Go figure.

Apparently, because he did not have any identification, he had to spend some time with the security officials at the airport. He was “pulled out of line, quizzed at length, and directed to sign all kinds of declarations,” according to Michael Klein of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

On a side note, the Philly Phanatic brought his ID.
