According to a source close to Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports, the Baltimore Orioles are not close to moving infielder Ty Wigginton, “but not all doors have been closed.”

Morosi wonders if the San Francsico Giants would make a play for Wigginton if they do not get Toronto Blue Jays’ Jose Bautista.

On Thursday, Morosi said the interest by the Minnesota Twins, Philadelphia Phillies and San Francisco Giants in Baltimore Orioles infielder Ty Wigginton is cooling. However, he adds that there’s a 50/50 chances that the O’s could still move him.

The New York Yankees were in on Wigginton earlier this month, but recently dropped their interest in him.

Wigginton was recently suspended for an on-field altercation, but president of baseball operations, Andy MacPhail, doesn’t believe that would impact his trade value.
