Torii Hunter wants Adam Dunn as a teammate on the Angels

Angels center fielder Torii Hunter said on Monday night that he would like to have Washington Nationals first baseman Adam Dunn as a teammate, according to Bill Ladson of MLB.com.
Earlier today Buster Olney of ESPN said that Dunn has lost interest in working out a long-term deal with the Nationals which could open the door for a possible trade to Los Angeles. The Angels are in need of a first baseman to replace the injured Kendry Morales, however they’ll have competition with the Chicago White Sox if they decide to pursue Dunn.
“If we acquire Adam Dunn that would be awesome for our ballclub,” Hunter said. “We would welcome him with open arms, but at the same time, we don’t know what’s going to happen. If he gets here, I would be excited. But right now, I haven’t heard anything.”
