According to CandelaDeportiva.com, the San Diego Padres and outfielder Wily Mo Pena have agreed to a Minor League contract. Pena will be assigned to Triple-A Portland.

Pena, 28, has not played since 2008 when he was with the Washington Nationals. That season he played in 64 games  and hit .205/.243/.267.
