Buster Olney of ESPN the Magazine says the Phillies are asking around to see if anybody want to take outfielder Raul Ibanez off their hands. Olney believes they are trying to do this to make room for top prospect Domonic Brown.

By dumping Ibanez and his $17 million still owed to him, they could keep Jayson Werth and get playing time for Brown.

Werth is a free agent after this year, and several teams have been interested in renting him for the rest of the season including the Yankees, Red Sox and Rays.
