Philadelphia Phillies to be both buyers and sellers?

Philadelphia Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. says the team could be both buyers and sellers by the July 31st trade deadline, according to Ryan Lawrence of the Journal Register News Service.
“Obviously, I don’t want to weaken my club,” Amaro said. “But f I have to weaken one area to strengthen another, then I might do that.”
Lawrence suggests that rather than let Jayson Werth walk via free agency, the Phillies may be betters off seeing what Werth could bring back in a trade. If they go down that route, outfield prospect Domonic Brown could be called up to the big league club and take Werth’s place.
One trade that Lawrence suggests is to move Werth and land a couple of decent prospects then package that with their top pitching prospect, Jarred Cosart, in exchange for a Roy Oswalt or Dan Haren. Lawrence says it will be better to have a pitcher like Oswalt or Haren for a year and half over another two and half months of Werth.
