New York Yankees sign infielder Chad Tracy
ByAccording to The Boston Globe (via Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com), the New York Yankees have signed infielder Chad Tracy.
Tracy, 30, was designated for assignment and eventually released by the Chicago Cubs in late June. He will spend some time in the Minor Leagues and provide the Yankees the insurance of a corner infielder if the need arises.
