The last couple of days going into the Trade Deadline were extremely intense. I sorted out rumors, possibilities, fits, etc., and it came down to 26 trades. Of those 26 trades, 14 of them came today. Of those 14, 9 of them probably came in the last hour.
That’s a pretty big accomplishment for the front office staff of most franchises. However, you have to wonder what slipped through the cracks? Could that 26 have been 50? What trades could have happened had the planets been aligned correctly? What was really going on behind closed doors?
