Milwaukee hotel haunted – forces Pablo Sandoval and Edgar Renteria to stay down the street
ByPablo Sandoval and Edgar Renteria of the San Francisco Giants are a little spectrophobic – so much so that they had to check out of Milwaukee’s historic Pfister Hotel. They ended up checking in at another property down the street to escape from the supposed ghosts of the 117-year old hotel.
NBC Bay Area says that other players from other teams, including the Boston Red Sox Adrian Beltre, have reported strange sounds during the night while staying at the Pfister.
A quick Google search revealed St. Louis Cardinals’ Brendan Ryan, Milwaukee Brewers’ Carlos Gomez, Boston Red Sox Mike Cameron and several Florida Marlins have had odd experiences at the hotel.
“Everything’s scary,” Gomez said. “Everything in the hotel, the paintings and pictures, it’s a lot of old, crazy stuff. No good, man. No good.”
Allison Jornlin, who leads haunted history tours for the folklore research organization Milwaukee Ghosts, said guests have reported seeing a “portly, smiling gentleman” roaming the halls, riding the elevator and even walking his dog. The apparition is said to resemble Charles Pfister, who founded the hotel with his father, Guido.
