Ken Rosenthal on Adam Dunn, Ted Lilly and Corey Hart
ByIn a video blog, Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports talks about possible moves involving Cliff Lee, Ted Lilly and Corey Hart:
Chicago White Sox biggest need is the left handed bat such as Cliff Lee. They looked into a possible deal with the Washington Nationals for Dunn, but so far the price is too high for the first baseman, but it could happen. Ultimately, they will likely add a left-handed hitter over a starting pitcher.
Ted Lilly of the Chicago Cubs could be moved since he is a free agent, he’s pitching well, and has a history of success. He’d be a good for those teams (such as the New York Mets) that do not get Lee.
Corey Hart of the Milwaukee Brewers has been having a huge first half, and he could bring the Brewers the much needed pitching in return. The San Francisco Giants have been the most frequently linked team to Hart, but keep an eye on the Atlanta Braves. The Braves have a good stock of Major League ready pitching and they have been looking for a right-handed hitter forever.
