Florida Marlins willing to deal everybody but Johnson or Ramirez

By Allan

As of Sunday morning, the Florida Marlins are 37-43 and 10 1/2 games out in the NL East, and Joe Frisaro of MLB.com says there are “rumblings” from within the organization that the team is willing to listen to offers for everyone not named Josh Johnson or Hanley Ramirez.

There are indications that the Marlins could deal the 27-year-old right-handed pitcher Ricky Nolasco for the right price.

Jorge Cantu is eligible for free agency after this season and the Marlins may not be able to sign him if his salary exceeds more than $10 million per season. Frisaro says Cantu is the most likely Marlin to be moved before the end of the season.

Dan Uggla and Cody Ross could bring back significant prospects for the Marlins, but the team has no urgency to move them. Both players, like Nolasco, have one year of arbitration remaining.

Other players that could be moved include Nate Robertson and Wes Helms.
