According to Ed Price of AOL Fanhouse, the Arizona Diamondbacks have designated Dontrelle Willis for assignment.

Willis, 28, was traded from the Detroit Tigers to the Arizona Diamondbacks on June 1st of this year after the Tigers designated him for assignment.

The left-handed pitcher was 1-1 with a 6.85 ERA in 6 appearances (5 starts) for the Diamondbacks. He is 2-3 overall with a 5.62 ERA between the Tigers and Dbacks.
