7/6 13:53: According to Ed Price of AOL FanHouse, the Detroit Tigers had a top scout at last night’s Kansas City Royals and Seattle Mariners game looking for bullpen help.
The Seattle Mariners are all but ready to surrender the season, and they are likely taking calls for their bullpen. Relief pitcher trade candidates of the Seattle Mariners include David Aardsma and Brandon League. Candidates on the Kansas City Royals include Joakim Soria and Kyle Farnsworth.
Last week, Nick Cafardo of The Boston Globe had received mixed signals regarding the interest by the Boston Red Sox for Farnsworth.
