The Yankees and the Diamondbacks did not speak on Saturday, but a number of “back-channel” conversations took place. The Yankees remain willing to trade Triple-A right-handers Ivan Nova and Zach McAllister and a third prospect for Haren while taking all of the remaining $33 million on the pitcher’s contract.
