What do you do after you tell the future home run king to get off your mound? If you asked Dallas Braden of the Oakland Athletics, he would send over an autographed poster and some other goodies as a peace offering, and that’s exactly what he did

Braden sent over a box of souvenirs to the Yankees clubhouse with hopes the incident could be put behind them, according to Kevin Kernan of the New York Post.

The New York Yankees are in town to play the A’s in a three-game set and unfortunately the Braden and Alex Rodriguez rematch did not take place because Braden is on the disabled list.

Braden was asked earlier this week if he has spoken with Rodriguez, and he replied, “No, I must have lost his phone number.”

Despite the lack of a rematch, the A’s marketing department is trying to make a quick buck by selling “Get Off My Mound” t-shirts, which Braden isn’t too fond of because it “doesn’t respect the game.”
