7/21 11:45: Buster Olney of ESPN adds that the White Sox are interested in Fielder, but they probably can’t make a deal unless they offer Gordon Beckham in the package.

7/21 11:26: Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports tweets that the Chicago White Sox are trying to “accelerate” a deal for Milwaukee Brewers’ Prince Fielder. The problem with a deal between the Sox and the Brewers is that Milwaukee wants starting pitching, and the White Sox biggest pitching trading chip, Daniel Hudson, is only viewed as a 3 or 4.

Rosenthal adds, “Brewers presently getting more interest on Prince than on [Corey] Hart.” It was believed that Hart was all but gone earlier this month when the San Francisco Giants and the Brewers were negotiating for the right fielder.
