Jim Bowden of Sirius XM radio spoke with Cardinals GM John Mozeliak today and covered a variety of topics.  Here are a few of the more interesting topics.

-”Mozeliak just told us that he is concerned about the clubs offense at 2B and SS..he did not deny his interest of Dan Uggla and Kelly Johnson.”

-”There will be no contract talks with Albert Pujols until the season is over according to Cards GM John Mozeliak”

-”Kyle Lohse could be back the first week in August….not such good news regarding Brad Penny.”

The Cardinals currently are 48-41 and are 1/2 a game back of the division leading Reds.  Expect Mozeliak to make a move as the trading deadline approaches to help his team succeed in the stretch run.
