Are the Baltimore Orioles ready to deal Ty Wigginton in the next few days?

Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com says that president of baseball operations Andy MacPhail wanted to wait until Brian Roberts was activated from the disabled list before he traded away Ty Wigginton. Well, that day is almost here. Roberts is expected to be activated in the next few days, so a possible trade could be in the works.
Wigginton has drawn interest from several teams including the New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies (unlikely now), Texas Rangers, Colorado Rockies, San Diego Padres, Los Angeles Angels and San Francisco Giants.
In exchange for Wigginton, MacPahil told the Baltimore Sun earlier this week that he wouldn’t be opposed to a salary dump:
“A claim would be something that would definitely be attractive,” MacPhail said. “The trade for a big-time player, if it’s going to subtract from the core guys you are trying to build around, that becomes more problematic. It’s something you obviously would have to look at.”
