Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports says the Los Angeles Angels still want to add a first baseman. Their everday first baseman, Kendry Morales, was injured in late May after breaking his leg on a walk-off grand slam.

Washington Nationals first baseman, Adam Dunn, is a potential target. Dunn is wrapping up a two-year, $20 million contract. He has publicly said he wants to stay in Washington and the team and his agent have been talking, but nothing formal has been worked out.

Another option is Arizona Diamondback’s first baseman, Adam LaRoche. In either case, if the Angels acquire a new first baseman, the incumbent Mike Napoli could become trade bait.
