Lady Gaga was not a big hit at the Mets game at Citi Field yesterday. She has to move from her seats behind home plate because of the boos by the fans and the media attention.  To keep the ‘Poker Face’ star happy, Mets personnel moved her to a suite – a suite owned by comedian Jerry Seinfeld.

A team spokesperson said “The use of Jerry Seinfeld’s suite was unauthorized and unknown to him at the time.”

Mets Media Director Jay Horwitz told NBCNewYork, “We deeply regret that Jerry Seinfeld has been associated with this matter and have apologized to him…we made a quick decision to place Lady Gaga and her group in a private suite because of issues related to her visit.”

Seinfeld was very positive towards the situation, especially regarding Gaga’s middle finger pictures:

Seinfeld’s rep said, “The Seinfelds take an optimistic view of Lady Gaga’s gesture as a sign that she wants the Mets to be in first place as badly as they do.”
