Detroit Tigers formally release SS Adam Everett
ByLast week the Detroit Tigers designated Adam Everett for assignment. According to John Lowe of the Free Press, the Tigers officially released the shortstop today and thus making him a free agent.
Everett, 33, was hitting .185/.221/.247 in 31 games for the Tigers in 2010.
