The biggest trade chip the Mariners have is starting pitcher Cliff Lee. Expect him to go for a lot of prospects before the July trade deadline. With the Mariners in last place in the AL West, everybody else (except for Ichiro Suzuki and Felix Hernandez) on the roster is subject to be traded too including closer David Aardsma.

Nick Cafardo of The Boston Globe says the Minnesota Twins could be a likely destination for Aardsma. The Twins have been successful in replacing Joe Nathan (who is out for the year due to Tommy John surgery) with current closer Jon Rauch. However, the team may want to get insurance in the event Rauch is overworked or fails towards the end of the season.
