Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun says Orioles president of baseball operations Andy MacPhail doesn’t have any interviews scheduled for the team’s managerial vacancy, but that could change.

“I would be shocked if anything happened at the earliest by the All-Star break,” MacPhail said. “We still have guys to talk to. There are still a lot of variables at this point.”

Candidates that MacPhail could talk to include Buck Showalter and Dodgers third base coach Larry Bowa.

MacPhail is expected to interview Showalter, the former manager of the Diamondbacks, Yankees and Rangers, as early as next week.

The Los Angeles Times said that the Dodgers probably wouldn’t allow the Orioles to speak with Bowa during the season.
