Here’s a video of Cleveland Indians pitcher David Huff being struck in the head by Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez’s line drive in today’s game:

According to the Associated Press, Huff immediately fell to the ground and lay still on his stomach after Rodriguez’s hit struck him above the left eye. Huff was taken off the field on a cart.

Trainers from both teams and players on the field ran to the mound. Rodriguez took a knee behind the mound and slammed his helmet. He remained there with his head bowed for a minute before going into the dugout.
Huff gave a thumbs up and raised a hand to a huge ovation while being carted off the field.
