Milwaukee Brewers RHP Claudio Varges designated for assignment

According to Tyler Barnes, VP of communications for the Milwaukee Brewers, the team has designated right-handed pitcher Claudio Vargas for assignment.
Vargas, 31, was 1-0 with a 7.32 ERA in 17 appearances with the Brewers in 2010.
