According to Troy Renck of the Denver Post, the Boston Red Sox are tracking the progress of Rockies catcher Chris Iannetta in Triple-A Colorado Springs in case the Rockies make him available.

Ianetta, 27, was not very productive in the 8 games that he played with Colorado this season, and was therefore sent to Triple-A. He signed a three-year, $8.35 million contract through 2012 with a club option for 2013.
