According to Brian Feldman of 101 ESPN, Cardinals’ GM John Mozeliaks said the team will “likely” choose cash to complete the trade of Julio Lugo to the Baltimore Orioles.

Lugo was traded by the Cardinals to the Orioles just before the season started. The cash value is unknown at this time.
