Update 5/4 15:25: So Alex Rodriguez sat out Sunday’s game with the White Sox due to stiffness in his right leg. I’m wondering if there’s more to this story.

The New York Post says Rodriguez took out Cameron Diaz on Saturday night at Hotel Griffou with their newly single friend Kate Winslet (of Titanic fame). The Post says that based on the photos of Diaz from the next day, she spent the night with Alex.

Said one source: “They all shared a delicious meal and several bottles of French red wine.”

Two stars have been secretly dating since their encounter at a Super Bowl party in February where “Cameron had her hands all over Alex’s back, and they were dancing together.” The two have also been known to be shuttling back and forth to Miami in their spare time.
